Pam Roderick is Managing Director of Buckner Roderick with offices in the UK and the US. She spent 10 years as a qualified social worker in a variety of roles within the social voluntary sector in the UK. Pam then joined the private sector and spent 6 years in senior management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation. She was responsible for cross-cultural and cross-functional executive development. She was a Director at Roffey Park Management College working on design and delivery of the first ever experiential MBA programme.
Pam started her own business in 1992. Her focus was on leadership development, particularly working with CEOs and their Boards both within groups and on a one to one basis. She has conducted board development interventions globally, including 13 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Her work is aimed at long-term leadership development at all levels and supporting CEOs through strategy structure and people change. Client projects include designing leadership programmes for executives, cross-functional and cross-cultural, in a variety of settings and industries. Her special interests include personal development in leadership, CEO coaching and talent development for executive succession planning. She is passionate about how organisations become more experimental and emergent in their thinking.
Pam is also involved in voluntary work in India; designing and delivering development programmes for teachers and housemothers within orphanages. She currently sits on the Board of Every 3 Seconds, a company which is committed to raising awareness of the impact of hunger in the world through documentary film making.Pam holds the following qualifications: Certificate of Qualification in Social Work, M.A. in Management Learning and a Diploma in Organisational Design. Pam is a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
